Women and Children First!

Women & Children First  is a specialist support service for women, children and families. For 50  years they’ve been providing crisis accommodation, transitional housing,  outreach services, parenting support and specialist casework for those at  imminent risk of homelessness - particularly women and children escaping  domestic and family violence. Their two refuges and specialist support services are  based on Sydney's Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore.

In FY2025, Women &  Children First provided 21,432 nights of safe shelter and wraparound support  - and opened their doors to more than 1,100 new women and children seeking  safety and stability.
